• Mechanical dysfunction of muscles is the etiology.

Symptoms

• Pelvic pain
• Dyspareunia: Pressure, pain during sex
• Urinary incontinence (UI)
• Overactive bladder
• Bowel incontinence
• Incomplete emptying of feces, constipation
• Myofascial pelvic pain
• Pelvic organ prolapse
