All remedies whether deep-acting or acute, can act Quickly / Acutely when administered in acute conditions. But some short-acting remedies do not have the ability to create deep and long-term effects in chronic diseases

Miasmatic remedies could act deeply in chronic disease.

As you may heard, Hahneman in his famous book, Organon count three character for every remedy. A curative remedy should cure disease Gentle, Rapid and Permanent.

Obviously Acute remedies have the first two character and Miasmatic remedies are one which must have the third character, that's why Hahneman named them as deep-acting remedies.
