Clinic

• It is a variant of Guillain–Barré syndrome.
• MFS and descending weakness rare phenotypic variants have been recently described with
  • Pure sensory variant
  • Restricted autonomic manifestations
  • Pharyngeal-cervical-brachial pattern
• It may affect the facial nerve.

Sign / Symptoms

• Bilateral ophthalmoplegia
• Ataxia
• Areflexia
• Abnormal muscle coordination
