Clinic
- It is a prion miasm
- Its important regions are Mind and CNS.
- Kuru is a very rare, incurable and fatal neurodegenerative disorder that was formerly common among the Fore people of Papua New Guinea.
- KRU is a form of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE) which leads to tremors and Incoordination.
- Body tremors is a classic symptom of the disease (Titubation (Nodding movement of the head or body)
- It is also known as the "laughing sickness" due to the pathologic bursts of laughter which are a symptom of the disease.
- Kuru, a transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, is a disease of the nervous system that causes physiological and neurological effects which ultimately lead to death.

It is characterized by
- Progressive cerebellar ataxia (Dysarthria
- Incoordination
- Loss of control over muscle movements

Mind
Psychosis: Behavioral change
Ataxia: Tremor, Incoordination
Cerebellar Ataxia:
Headache.
Pneumonia.
Generality: Arthralgia, Weakness, Muscular Weakness
Sensory loss. .
Choraoathetosis. Cranial nerve Palsies / Deficits
LMN: Myoclonic Jerking + Fasciculation + Muscular Weakness
