Gout is a painful disease of the joint caused by deposit of uric acid crystals in the joints.
It can affect any joint of the body, including the knee joint, and mainly begins from the big toe.
The main symptoms of gout are intense pain and swelling of affected joints.



Sul	In Gout with structural change (Contracture), give Sul , if on heeling then Calc or Lyc are useful
Apis Ars	In toes gout esp big toe, first give Apis and Ars, If does not respond, then give Colch.
Colch	Acute gouty pain in knees with marked swelling and heat. Knee is very sensitive to touch and the slightest touch causes unbearable pain. Movement of the knee worsens the pain in such cases. Big toe gout
Benz-ac	Knee gout when painful gouty nodes are formed Pain and cracking sound in knee joint on movement. Tearing /Stitching / Drawing pain is felt in the knees along with swelling. Night agg

First line	Med C200 One dose every 2 days Benz-ac C30 one dose daily Acute pain and swelling: Led C200 + Bell C3 one dose every 3 hours
Second line	Symph C200 + Rhus-t C30 one dose every 3 hours alternately
