• Sanguinaria Canadensis, commonly known as Bloodroot, is a homeopathic remedy prepared from the root of the plant. In traditional homeopathic materia medica, it is particularly associated with right-sided headaches, especially migraines that may begin in the back of the head and extend towards the forehead or right eye. It is also traditionally linked to hot flushes, facial redness, burning sensations, and certain respiratory complaints. Its characteristic features include right-sided symptoms and periodic headaches.
