Clinic
Transversal inflammation of spinal cord due to Infections, Immune system disorders, Nerve fibers injuries or myelin loss. Its main characteristics are
- Weakness (Paraparesis, Paraplegia )
- Sensory deficits / Numbness (Paresthesia)
- Motor skills decreased
- Sphincter dysfunctional (Urethral, Anal)
- Autonomic dysfunction which can lead to Hypertention
- Local Stabbing / Burning pain (Hyperesthesia)
- Respiratory failure due to Diaphragm paralysis
