UNGRATEFUL

  • The state of pregnancy is again a reminder of additional sickness and the miserable conditions tagged on to it.

Pregnant has two meanings:

  • One is child bearing i.e. motherhood. Why is there the feeling of indignation? Because of exposure of one’s sexual relationship which is taken by certain persons as an act of immorality etc. Other is wretched look, which is obvious as the stage of pregnancy advances.
  • The other meaning is while one is loaded (stuffed up or full of) with something. What is there to feel indignant while one is full or is gifted with something. Because she does not want to be grateful even to God and that is why feels humiliated when she feels she has to accept things without deserving them like living on others charity. To accept obligation is against her temperament.
