- Occasionally termed polyneuritis multiplex
- It is simultaneous involvement of nerve trunks leads to Acute / Subacute loss of Sensory / Motor function
- The pattern of involvement is asymmetric
- It is sometimes associated with a deep, aching pain that is worse at night and frequently in the lower back, hip, or leg.
