Hep

Merc

• Abscess accompanied by Body coldness
• King remedy of suppuration (Abscess with green Pus/ Discharge)
• Abscess with sour-smelling secretions (Hep)
• Good remedy for cold abscess, when the infection progresses slowly (Calc, Carb-v)

Sil

• Cold, Slow, Non-Painful , Non-Hemorrhagic abscess
• Abscess with Gelatinous / Gray secretions
• First remedy of abscess due to foreign body. Here Sil facilitates its exit (Hep is second remedy and should be prescribed after Sil)
• Cellulitis that has not yet turned into an abscess (Here give Sil first and then Hep)
