Merc is a Sehgal Remedy in Sehgal Method

Merc in brief

  • Merc causes Chronic/ Miasmatic remedy
  • Main regions are
    • Glandular tissues
    • Mucous membranes
    • Bones and Joints.
  • It means the whole body except the hollow organs (digestive, respiratory, kidney and Urinary tracts).
  • Merc is Catarrhal / Hemorrhagic, not dry.
  • Merc condition is not stable. Many Aggs which makes him completely confused and inflamed.
  • Merc is smelly and disgusting and full of Disgusts.
  • Mostly it is prescribed in acute conditions. Since its chronic administration is not an easy task.
  • By using miasmatic theory of viruses, more Mercs can be discovered.


Acute Merc

  • Infectious condition where the patient is extremely irritable, hot and bitter.
  • Offensiveness is one of the diagnostic points.
  • The basic point is to recognize your own feelings. You feel that the patient's condition is serious and you should take a serious action such as inject able antibiotics and serum therapy.


Chronic Merc

  • Along with Bell, is the most widely used drug for viral miasms.

Peculiar

  • Shooting / Radiating pain in the teeth
  • Teeth printing on the tongue
  • Sore throat that radiates to the ear.

Ulcer remedies

  • Deep, deformed and disgusting with a very infectious and dirty appearance,
  • Accompanied by a pungent and putrid smell and a lot of purulent and bloody secretions.
  • Corrosive /Discharging/ Indurated Gangrenous wound which ends in Cellulitis / Abscess (Merc-c ₳ Merc)
  • Merc-c is a better remedy for the Superficial / Phagedenic ulcer but Merc is more useful in Purulent wounds
  • So it is suggested for HSV-1, HSV-2 and MTB.


Mind

  • Merc is nervous and irritable, but compared to Nux-v, he is less bully and aggressive because he is dominated by weakness.
  • He is frustrated and will not be satisfied under any circumstances
  • His dominant emotion in chronic conditions is Disgust. Interestingly, you also do not like this patient. Even when his problems are purely physical.

  • Inimical to Sil and should not be administered before or after it.
