Asaf, Asafoetida
Asafoetida is a native Iranian medicine prepared from the gum resin of the Ferula plant. It is traditionally associated with digestive disturbances, excessive gas, abdominal bloating, and hysterical symptoms. It is particularly noted for its characteristic upward movement of gas, pressure, and sensations from the stomach toward the chest and throat.
Asaf in brief
- Asaf is useful in inflammation of the abdomen, abdominal colic with flatulence and feeling of mass in the intestines
