Plaque: Also known as psoriasis vulgaris, Prevalence: 90% of cases. It typically presents as red patches with white scales on top. Areas of the body most commonly affected are the back of the forearms, shins, navel area, and scalp. Guttate: It has drop-shaped lesions. Sign/ Symptoms are Dryness, Scaling and Itching of the skin. Inverse: It forms red patches in skin folds. Pustular: It presents as small, noninfectious, pus-filled blisters. Erythrodermic: It occurs when the rash becomes very widespread, and can develop from any of the other types. Fingernails and toenails are affected in most people with psoriasis at some point in time. This may include pits in the nails or changes in nail color.	Psoriasis is a Genetic / Immunologic disease that is triggered by environmental factors. Symptoms often worsen during winter and with certain medications, such as NSAIDs. Infections and psychological stress can also play a role. Diagnosis is typically based on the signs and symptoms. There is no known cure for psoriasis The disease affects 2–4% of the population.	Psoriatic arthritis: It affects up to 30% of individuals with psoriasis Lymphomas, Cardiovascular disease, Crohn's disease Depression.

Guttate Psoriasis Remedies

Knees and Elbows	Phos	Dry, scaly eruptions. Itching appears in the eruptions, which agg in heat. Burning and stinging sensation in the eruptions Formication on the area affected
Hands / Fingers	Lyc	Eruptions are reddish with Dandruf looks. Bleeding often arises in eruptions, usually accompanied by a sensation of heat in the hands. Palms are excessively dry and fissures may appear on the hands. Burning in the lesions is well marked.
Joint Pain	Rhus-t	Rhus Tox works well where joints are involved. Any of the joints may be affected. The affected joints are very painful and stiff. The pain is worse when at rest and after periods of inactivity, and better after movement. The pain and stiffness are, therefore, worse in the morning. Exposure to cold air also makes the pain worse. Some patients get relief from warm fomentation. Massaging the affected joint also soothes the pain in some cases.
