Carb-v in brief

  • Carb-v is a very widely used Remedy.
  • It is known to revive the dead.

Two main uses

  1. Acute fatigue due asphyxia (lack of tissues oxygen) (Op, Ant-t)
  2. Chronic disease or altitude sickness (Coca) that has disrupted the oxygen delivery system (Decrease in blood O2 or increase in CO2) and has led to cyanosis


Peculiarity

  • Internal burning + External coldness are diagnostic features
  • Carb-v's body is cold but wants you to fan him
  • Altitude sickness remedies

Flatulence

  • Carb-v is one of the most important remedies of Abdominal Flatulence / Bloating / Distention remedies along with Lyc and Chin (Carb-v ₳ Lyc) , (Carb-v ₳ Chin)
  • As a diagnostic feature Carb-v is acute and cyanotic.
  • Carb-v has sever bloating, as if his stomach is about to explode
  • He can't pass gas, and gets better with lots of Belching / Flatus (Opposite to Chin) (Carb-v ₳ Chin)
  • Graph has flatulence similar to Carb-v and the recovery after passing gas (Rumx)
  • Loud belching sounds (Camph)


Respiratory tract


Asthma

  • Palliative remedy in the acute phase of asthma (Ip, Ars, Spong, Bry) (Ars ₳ Carb-v)
    • In this case Carb-v will quickly relieve the patient and he can sleep, but his asthma will recur with a cold, in such a case, Nat-s is the appropriate remedy.
  • Severe dyspnea that seems to be dying.
  • He becomes cold while sitting, drenched in sweat, and wants someone to fan him
  • Problems caused by heatstroke (Carb-v, Puls, Sil)

  • Post-op remedy: After surgery, when the patient is extremely lethargic and cold. Blood is oozing from the wounds. Do not give Car-v to the patient. Stront-c is actually the same as Carb-v after surgery
  • Neonatal cholera
  • Cancer esp uterine cancer
  • Atrophy of organs caused by disease (Plb, Led)
  • Elderly emaciation (Lyc, Iod)
