- In exophthalmic goiter with family history of tuberculosis, the first choice is Dros and if fails, Spong is the second choice.
- History of MMP and epididymiorchitis
- Goitre accompanied by a feeling of laxity, fatigue and sleepiness
- Hard swelling of other glands such as ovaries, breast and testicles
- Hoarseness
- Heart valve problems, anxiety and shortness of breath, waking up with cough

Iod
- High metabolism, which causes rapid weight loss and hunger
- Excessive Hunger/ Thirst that improves with eating
- The least activity causes severe sweating and weakness
