- Burning / Stitching pain

- Main regions: Parotid gland, Testis, Ovaries, Abdomen
Nervous system
Cranial nerves
- Optic neuritis
- Face Palsy (CN-5)
- Deafness (CN-8): Unilateral, transient high-frequency
- Difficult pronunciation. Swelling of tongue
CNS
- Brainstem encephalitis [2], [3], [4]
- CSF; Pleocytosis, Hypoglycorrhachia (An abnormally low glucose concentration within CSF)
- Meningitis; aseptic: Headache. Pressing pain. Neck Rigidity
- Encephalitis: Seizure, Altered consciousness, Aphasia, Sleeplessness, Extremities ballismus-like Involuntary movements [5]
