Difficult Swallowing / Speaking

- Difficulty swallowing (food or saliva)
- Only swallowing of liquids is possible
- Stinging and smarting pain in throat
- Marked suppuration (pus collection) behind the tonsils.
- Palate feels very swollen+ Fever, Red face, Offensive breath + Tthick phlegm
- Salivation + Sensation of having a plug in the throat.

- Marked uneasiness/ Hawking disposition
- Stitching pain / Splinter like pain in the throat

Suppuration Behind Left Tonsil
|
|
- Pain in the throat on the left side which agg from taking liquids and from empty swallowing.
- Left side of the throat feels choked when drinking fluids
- Pain may radiate to the ear and usually worsens after sleep in most cases.
- Throat is swollen, dry and seems dark red.
- There is also a lot of phlegm present.

- Voice tends to get hoarse,
- Throat and neck are very sensitive to external pressure. (Bar-c ₳ Lach)
- Purple throat color

Suppuration behind Right Tonsil
|
|
- Right tonsil is sore, painful and suppurated.
- Throat feels dry and sharp pain is felt in the tonsil particularly upon swallowing.
- Sometimes burning and pricking appears in the tonsil.
- Frontal headache (Maybe)
- Salivation during sleep
- Dry throat
- Tendency to hawking
- Formation of purulent membrane on the tonsils

- Pharyngitis amel with warm drinks.
- Lymphadenopathy

Marked Burning Pains in Throat
|

- Throat, tonsil, and palate are congested with bluish or dark-purple appearance.
- Throat is also intensely dry, rough with burning and smarting in fauces.
- Swallowing difficult and is followed by excruciating pain in the throat that shoots to the ears. (Hep ₳ Phyt)

Tendency of Quinsy
|
|
- Tonsils are greatly swollen along with painful swallowing.
- Pain in the throat upon swallowing may be burning, cutting or tearing in nature.
- Pain may extend to ear from throat while swallowing.
- Saliva is profuse and offensive.
- Tough mucus in the throat. (Maybe)

Suppurating Tonsil is Slow to Heal
|
|
- Pus is fetid,
- It helps hasten the recovery process and clear off the pus discharges effectively.

Sore Throat, Tonsillitis and Quinsy in Strep Throat
|
|
- Throat gets red and swollen
- There is an accumulation of excessive pus behind the tonsil.
- There is a constant pain in the throat

First line
|
- Hep C200 two doses daily, in acute case every 3 hours
- Bell Ce one dose evey three hours alternating with Hep 200
|
Second line
|
- Bar-c C200, two doses daily
- KM 3X, two doses daily
- Acute cough, Spong C6 every 3 hour
|

KM:
- Typical diphtheria remedy, start treating all diphtheria with KM
- Swollen and gray-white patches
- Painful swallowing

CP: Diphtheria with swelling and white exudate covering uvula completely
NP: When the exudate is clearly yellow
KP:
- Sore throat + Offensive breath.
- It progresses to gangrene
- Symptoms of paralysis appear
NM: Edema due to diphtheria
FP:
- Dry, red, painful pharyngitis without mucus
