Carb-v in brief
- Carb-v is a very widely used Remedy.
- It is known to revive the dead.
- Two main uses:
- Acute fatigue due asphyxia (lack of tissues oxygen) (Op, Ant-t)
- Chronic disease or Altitude sickness remedies (Coca), (Carb-v ₳ Coca) that has disrupted the oxygen delivery system (Decrease in blood O2 or increase in CO2) and has led to cyanosis
Peculiarity
- Internal burning + External coldness
- She is cold but wants to be fanned.
Flatulence
- Abdominal Flatulence / Bloating / Distention along with Lyc and Chin (Carb-v ₳ Lyc) (Carb-v ₳ Chin)
- As a diagnostic feature, Carb-v is acute and cyanotic.
- Sever bloating, as if his stomach is about to explode
- He can't pass gas, and gets better with lots of Belching / Flatus (Opposite to Chin) (Carb-v ₳ Chin)
- Graph has flatulence similar to Carb-v and amel after passing gas (Rumx)
- Loud belching sounds (Camph)
Respiratory tract
- Tracheitis, Bronchiolitis, Bronchitis, Pneumonia
- Paroxysms of Productive / Severe coughs
- Dyspnea, Tachypnea, Wheezing, Apnea
- Rale, Rhonchi
- Retraction of intercostal muscles
- Hypoxia / Cyanosis / Asphyxia
- Phlegmatic coughs in morning and dry at night (Squil, Puls, Alum, Stram, Sep, Ph-ac)
- Burping to expel phlegm (Sil)
Asthma
- Palliative remedy in acute phase of asthma (Ip, Ars, Spong, Bry) (Ars ₳ Carb-v)
- In this case Carb-v will quickly relieve the patient and he can sleep
- But his asthma will recur with a cold, in such a case, Nat-s is the appropriate remedy.
- Severe dyspnea that seems to be dying.
- He becomes cold while sitting, drenched in sweat, but wants someone to fan him
- Asthma caused by heatstroke (Puls, Sil)
- Nasal congestion that does not improve with nasal drainage (Stict, Psor, Naja, Kali-bi)
Hay fever
- Watery secretions and the nasal irritation spreads into the chest (lungs) and causes bruising and soreness.
- Acute and large secretions that end in sneezing (Puls, ARS, All-c, Euphr)
Apnea
- When he falls asleep, he feels as if he is dead and does not breathe, and when he wakes up, he faces severe suffocation (Dig, Psor, Lach)
- Wakes up with intense fear (Spong, Phos, Lach, Samb) (Carb-v ₳ Spong)
- A constant tendency to breathe deeply. (Dig) (Carb-v ₳ Dig)
Aphonia
- Voice hoarseness at night (Graph) (Carb-v ₳ Graph)
